V.R., who entered the US as a refugee, was granted permanent residency in July 2009.

C.C. was granted a "joint filing waiver" and had the conditions removed from his residency in July 2009.

J.T. was joined by his wife in June 2009 who was granted an immigrant visa through the consulate in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

M. was granted her US citizenship after years of trying in July 2009.

In April of 2009, M.S. was reinstated as a "V" visa holder based on a 2004 court decision being brought to the attention of USCIS.

E.R. had his conviction for sexual abuse of a minor vacated and kept his green card in 2008.

G.H., who held a green card, had an immigration hold while serving time in jail. Mr. Keen showed ICE that in fact GH was a derivative US citizen, and the detainer was dropped and he was released in July 2009.

F.P., a green card holder, was held as an arriving alien with no bond by ICE. Mr. Keen convinced ICE to file a new Notice to Appear that allowed FP to leave custody with a bond while he is fighting his immigration case in July 2009.

C.S., a green card holder, had an old conviction for possession of drugs and was arrested after reentering the United States. Mr. Keen secured an immigration bond and then won his 212(c) case so that CS could keep his green card. The Immigration Judge and the Chief Counsel commented to Mr. Keen that the well-prepared documentation in support of the case helped make the decision easy. The Chief Counsel's office did not appeal the decision.

E.L. had her case Mr. Keen filed for her at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals remanded to the Board of Immigration Appeals in July 2009.

In June 2009, attorney David Heier successfully won a dismissal of DUI charges against client D.Z. in Lindon, Utah.

In July 2009, client M.W.'s petition for post-conviction relief was granted, vacating a prior drug conviction with the assistnace of attorney David Heier
